Layout - Pedicure Fun

I couldn't resist playing with the latest Momoyo Ribbons and Buttons the minute they were sent to me.  Their happy colours perfectly complimented my latest stash of SSF papers.  I love how the buttons lends a cheery and happy feel as centers of flowers and also the last 3 that I have used a perfect ending to my title.  Lastly, the ribbon also completes and balances my layout well.

Layout - My Boy Breaks Down when he is tired

This is a layout that describes Sean to a "T". We took these photos of him crying in Hong Kong Disneyland. Naturally after 1 day of fun and not getting his way at the Astro Blasters, he broke down one of the restaurants there. I just found these photos and thought that I better scrap it before I forget about them again. I feel that this layout is still unfinished (re: white circle that I drew). Maybe it would be nicer if I put something more 3D there. Will think about it.
Materials used:
Creative Imaginations pp, Making Memories Fabric Stickers and Tag, Pink Paislee Chipboard, K n Co Chipboard Flourish, SSF stickers, Thickers foam alphas, Blue DMC thread, Blue GRosgrain ribbon, White Sakura Pen, Making Memories Black Sticker Alphas and Momoyo Brads.

Twisted Sketches No 11

Here is a layout I did about 12 days ago using the Twisted Sketches No 11. The twist of the sketch was to use monochromatic hues for the layout. I love green and I have chosen green for this layout.
I have used the Coredinations papers in different shades of green and added texture using the Cuttlebug and sanded them down. Sewed on the side and added more texture with laces, Momoyo brads and buttons.
Materials used:
Coredinations pp, DMC thread, Making Memories brads, Buttons from Momoyo and Autumn Leaves, Kinderglitz Glue, Pompom trim from my Scarlet Lime Kit, Chipboard Alphas from Thickers, Sticker alphas from Pink Paislee, KindyGlitz, Momoyo tiny metallic green brads and 3d pop up foam.

Here's a picture of Sean flying through the air!  Thanks Eric for capturing this very cool photo.

Layout using Momoyo buttons

This is a simple layout demonstrating how you can utilise our buttons for your layouts.  The sketch below is from the Basic Grey Challenge. (Click on the words to get to the site)  I find sketches very inspiring especially when you have no idea what to do.  All you have to do is search for a sketch and then apply it to your layout.  Do remember to credit the site if you are using the sketch - its only scrapbooking etiquette.

Hope you like this simple layout using our buttons are embellishments.

Adding a splash of colour with our brads

We always receive the following questions:

1)  " How do we use your brads?"
2) "The brads are so expensive - it's hard to use so many in a layout."

Well,  the best way to demonstrate how to use how brads would be colour coordination as per according to your layout.  For e.g. in this layout,  we selected the brad that picks out most of the colours in the layout.

How many brads?  - would even be easier to answer.  It depends on your layout.  Here we have used only 1 brad as the center of the flower.  If you use it the way you have - you can always stretch the usage of your brads and thus proving it more cost effective.  Hope this tip helps you.

Momoyo Owl Banner

Aren't the owls to die for?  I made this simple banner by just using our brads,  ribbons and some scrap paper which I had lying around.  Don't you think that they look so cute?  This is definitely another reason to buy our brads and ribbons.
